OVERVIEW

Foot Locker, Inc. is seeking a Cloud Engineer who has a proven track record in developing automation for Cloud management and monitoring. Cloud engineer will collaborate with security, architecture and application teams to target adoption of PaaS services with the automated cloud governance. The ideal candidate will be required to have strong technical expertise with varying technology stack.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyze, design, develop, test, install and support the Automation developed for governance
  • Possess and maintain a sound understanding of IaaS and PaaS services offered on cloud platforms to apply governance posture
  • Develop Infrastructure as Code to deploy cloud infrastructure and services with reusable components
  • Collaborate with development, operations, and infrastructure teams to develop sound automation solutions.
  • Prepare and maintain up to date documentation for internal and external customers detailing configuration of deployed solutions

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer science or related field
  • 10+ or more years of related information technology experience
  • 2-5 years of strong experience in event driven automation in Azure or AWS
  • Deep expertise in at least one of the few programming languages (Python, Powershell, C#, Javascript)
  • Event based architecture to utilize the Azure activity logs, OMS, Eventgrid to trigger the policy workflows.
  • Integrating the events with Enterprise tools such as Azure policy manager, Evident.io, ServiceNow and Network watcher etc. to establish workflows and dashboards
  • Usage of CI/CD pipeline is also assumed a default skill for this role
  • Familiarity with PaaS services, containers, orchestrations is a plus
  • Demonstrated experience with the Scrum Agile methodology
  • Ability to influence others using reasoning, persuasion, and negotiation; excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong ability to learn new technologies in a short time.
  • Must possess well-developed verbal and written communication skills.
